A little girl named Meena was four years old.

She lived with her father Upendra and mother Lalitha, who worked as farm labourers.

Her family had dug a borewell in their field and made food for the workers who were helping them.

On August 4, while the food was being packed to take to the field, Meena was playing nearby.

She accidentally fell into a big pot of very hot sambar soup and got badly burned.

Her parents rushed her to the Government General Hospital in Kurnool.

Doctors tried to treat her injuries, but sadly she could not survive.
