Monsoon Session washout: eight of 12 bills passed amid disruptions
How many Bills have been passed in Monsoon Session of Parliament · wionews.com

Parliament is the place where a country makes its laws.

In India, the monsoon session of Parliament started on July 20 and will end on August 13.

But this session did not work very well.

The two big political groups kept shouting at each other instead of working together.

They were arguing about police action against students in New Delhi and about donations to a temple in Ayodhya.

Because of all the shouting, members could not even ask their usual questions.

Even so, 12 new laws were introduced and 8 were passed by both houses.

Two more laws were passed by only one house.

Two important laws about women's seats in Parliament and foreign donations were not even brought up.
