Pakistani forces forcibly disappear four civilians, kill another in Balochistan
In a part of Pakistan called Balochistan, some people say that soldiers and spies took four young men away from their homes.
The young men are Yasir, who is 18, Shams Ur Rehman, who is 21, Saifullah, who is 24, and Shay Haq, who is 20.
A group that protects people's rights, called Paank, says the men were taken on August 6 during raids at their houses.
Their families do not know where the young men are now, and they are very sad and worried.
Paank says this is not fair and is against the rules that protect people everywhere.
They are asking Pakistan's leaders to tell everyone where the young men are, or to let them go or bring them to court.
Paank is also asking the United Nations to help.
Another group, called BSO-Azad, says the body of an 80-year-old man named Haibtan Baloch was found.
He had been taken from a place called Bela Cross in July, and the group says this is part of a pattern they call 'Kill and Dump.'
Paank, the Baloch National Movement's Human Rights Department, alleged personnel of Pakistan's Frontier Corps and Military Intelligence forcibly disappeared four Baloch civilians during August 6 raids at their residences in the Bit Buleda region of Kech district.
The abducted men were identified as 18-year-old Yasir, 21-year-old Shams Ur Rehman, 24-year-old Saifullah and 20-year-old Shay Haq, whose whereabouts remain unknown.
Paank called on Pakistani authorities to disclose the youths' whereabouts, ensure their safety, and release them or present them before a court, while urging national and international human rights organisations, including United Nations mechanisms, to press Islamabad for accountability.
