The operation was intensified after an attack on a police compound in Ziarat district killed nine policemen and abducted 18 cadets.
Insurgent groups, including TTP and Balochistan Liberation Army, are carrying out attacks and abductions in retaliation.
Security forces have destroyed terrorist hideouts and arrested suspected female suicide bombers.
Insurgents have abducted two courier service workers and demanded PKR 25 million for their release.
