Jhabua Collector Mandates Tenant Information for Security

In a place called Jhabua, a district leader named Dr Yogesh Tukaram Bharsat wants to keep everyone safe.

He made a new rule that starts on August 5, 2026, and lasts until October 5, 2026.

The rule says that people who own houses or shops must tell the police before they rent them out.

They also have to keep copies of the renter's identity cards.

Places like hotels, lodges, dharamshalas, and guest houses must check who stays with them and give the police a list every month.

People who hire workers or domestic helpers must also share their details with the police.

Companies that deliver packages and private security companies must share their workers' information too.

Jhabua is near the borders of Gujarat and Rajasthan, so many visitors come and go.

The police said it was hard to investigate when there were no records of who was living where.

This rule will help police know who is staying in the area so they can keep everyone safe.

Anyone who breaks the rule can get into trouble.
