BMC Appoints New Contractor for Worli Seafront Cleaning
The city's government, called the BMC, has hired a new company called Asian Traders Company to clean a 3.5-kilometer-long beach area called Worli Koliwada seafront.
This cleaning will happen every day for one whole year.
The BMC is giving the new company about 1.5 crore rupees for this job.
That's about ₹38,000 each day.
This beach gets a lot of trash because people fish there and many visitors come to have fun.
The old cleaning contract just finished, so they needed to find someone new.
The goal is to keep the beach clean.
