BharatPing Wants to Reinvent Professional Networking in India by Paying People to Reply · theprint.in

BharatPing is a new website for professional networking in India.

It wants to make people more likely to answer messages.

To contact someone, a user pays a small fee starting at ₹25.

If the person replies, they receive part of that money.

After replying, both people can chat freely for three days.

The platform says this may discourage spam messages.

It also plans to verify users’ identities using Aadhaar through DigiLocker.

BharatPing is initially focusing on alumni of institutions such as the IITs, IIMs and NITs.
