Android Children’s Adult Content Activity Nearly Triples Windows
Is your child’s phone safe? Adult content exposure nearly 3x higher on Android devices: Report · businesstoday.in

Kaspersky studied anonymous information about children’s online activity on Android and Windows devices.

It found that adult-content activity made up 5.71% of the Android activity it measured.

On Windows, the figure was 1.91%.

This does not mean every child spent that percentage of their time looking at adult content.

It means that percentage of the activity in the study fit that category.

Most activity on both devices involved communication, media, software, audio or video.

Kaspersky says mobile devices may need extra attention because they are portable and can be used away from adults.

The company recommends using safety controls and talking with children about online risks.

“It's encouraging to see that Indian children's time online is still anchored in communication, shared media, and everyday self-expression rather than pure entertainment.”
