Farmers Honor Naidu for Pattiseema’s Water Security Gains
Farmers thanked Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu for the Pattiseema water project.
The project moves floodwater from the Godavari River to the Krishna basin.
Farmers said 500 TMC of water had been sent to the Krishna Delta over 11 years.
Naidu said this helped farmers in the delta get water for their crops.

Farmers and irrigation association representatives honored Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu at the Secretariat in Velagapudi, Amaravati.
They credited the Pattiseema Lift Irrigation Project with transferring Godavari floodwaters to the Krishna basin before Polavaram was completed.
The farmers said 500 TMC of water had been diverted to the Krishna Delta over the past 11 years.
Naidu said the project helped meet Krishna Delta irrigation needs and conserve Krishna water in the Srisailam reservoir for Rayalaseema.
Naidu said the water supported farming and drinking-water needs in Rayalaseema, as well as industries including Kia.
