KSRTC bus crash kills driver, conductor; minister reviews staff hours

People ride big buses called KSRTC buses in the Indian state of Kerala.

One of these buses was driving through another state called Karnataka when it crashed on Saturday morning.

The driver and the conductor, who worked on the bus, sadly died in the crash.

Fourteen passengers who were traveling on the bus got hurt.

The bus came from a depot in a city called Kozhikode in Kerala.

A minister named CP John said the government will check whether bus workers are asked to work too many hours without rest.

He thinks that tired workers may be a safety problem.

A team will investigate what happened in the crash within five days.

The bus company will pay for the hospital bills of all the passengers who were hurt.

Leaders from Kerala and Karnataka also helped make sure the injured get good care.
