The Kanipakam temple will hold its annual festival from September 14 to October 10.

District officials are working together to help devotees visit safely and comfortably.

Police, doctors, firefighters and electricity workers will be available all day and night.

A control room will watch security and the movement of crowds.

Medical camps, ambulances and wheelchairs will be placed near the waiting lines.

Officials will also arrange drinking water, toilets, cleanliness and traffic control.

Drones and 100 CCTV cameras are planned to improve security.

Buses may run between Kanipakam and Chittoor every 10 minutes during the festival.
