University of Mumbai Aadhaar facilitation camp for APAAR, ABC ID
A university in Mumbai is helping students fix problems with their school ID numbers.
Each student needs a special number called an APAAR ID.
They also have another number called an ABC ID, and the two need to be connected.
Sometimes the name, birthday, or phone number on the student's Aadhaar card does not match.
This stops the IDs from being created or linked.
So the university is setting up a special help desk for two days.
It will be open on August 19 and 20, from 11 in the morning to 4 in the afternoon.
Students can visit the help desk with their Aadhaar card and other papers.
Teachers at connected schools have been asked to tell students about the help desk.
This way, students can get their IDs fixed and keep their school records in order.
The University of Mumbai will hold a two-day Aadhaar Facilitation Camp on August 19 and 20, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
The camp will be held at the Alkesh Dinesh Mody Institute for Financial and Management Studies (ADMIFMS), Ground Floor, Joraver Bhavan – Zest Room, on the university campus.
It aims to resolve student issues including APAAR ID creation, ABC ID linking, Aadhaar authentication, and mobile number, name, and date of birth mismatches.
The camp was announced through a circular issued by the Director, Board of Examinations and Evaluation (DBOEE), on August 16.
Students are advised to bring their Aadhaar card and relevant documents, and affiliated colleges have been asked to identify and inform affected students.
