A Kolkata company says the Bhopal health department did not pay for pesticides it supplied years ago.

The company bought the matter to court to recover its money.

A court-ordered team visited the health department on Monday.

It attached two vehicles, computers, laptops and other office items.

The amount owed, including interest, is said to be more than Rs 4 crore.

The department bought the pesticides between 2011 and 2013.

A similar action was attempted in November 2024, involving a larger stated recovery amount of about Rs 19.34 crore.

That earlier team left after officials objected, but vehicles were later attached.
