Gurugram Rain Traffic Leaves Woman Walking Eight Kilometres Home

Heavy rain caused many roads in Gurugram to fill with water and traffic.

One woman named Hensi Soni said her eight-kilometre journey took two and a half hours.

She walked for a large part of the trip because the vehicles were barely moving.

She shared a video showing a long line of stuck cars.

Other people said they had similar problems.

Some worried that ambulances might also get trapped.

Residents also complained that some auto-rickshaw drivers charged much more during the rain.

Schools moved classes online, and some companies told employees to work from home.
