Tanishq Launches Aagomon, Celebrating Bengali Women and Heritage
Tanishq introduced a new jewellery collection called Aagomon in Kolkata.
The designs take ideas from the arches and decorations of Bengal’s historic rajbaris.
The collection includes several kinds of gold jewellery.
Tanishq says the designs represent a woman moving between her heritage and her future.
The launch also introduced Srijoni Shomman, an initiative with Sananda.
It honours women in Bengal who have made their own paths and brought change.
Actor and filmmaker Nandita Das spoke about women listening to their own wishes.
She said wanting to dream and pursue opportunities is not selfish.
The collection celebrates women shaping their own identities while keeping a connection to their roots.
Tanishq unveiled its Aagomon festive jewellery collection on October 3 at JW Marriott Hotel Kolkata.
The collection draws inspiration from the arches and craftsmanship of Bengal’s rajbaris.
Its designs include haarams, sitahars, chokers, tiehaars and necklaces.
