Matunga police registered an FIR against 29-year-old Sachin Sanjay Pawar over alleged cheating during a Bombay High Court associate recruitment examination.
The examination was held at Raja Shivaji Vidyalaya in Dadar East, Mumbai, on September 6, 2026.
An examination supervisor allegedly saw Pawar copying in Hall No. 316 at around 11:30 a.m.
Authorities allegedly seized 12 handwritten slips containing English material related to the examination.
Pawar was booked under Maharashtra’s anti-malpractice law and Section 318(3) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita; police said the investigation is continuing.
