A new Haldia Petrochemicals plant will open in Haldia on October 14.

The project is expected to receive ₹6,000 crore in investment.

An L&T unit will be inaugurated in New Town on August 27.

Officials said it may be a technology and software park.

The Adani Group also plans to build a 2,000-bed hospital in New Town.

Half of the hospital beds will be for people who are financially weaker.

The government said it would support the hospital project.
