Several districts in Andhra Pradesh celebrated World Tourism Day.

Parvathipuram Manyam district celebrated with music and dance and promoted its waterfalls, hills and valleys.
World Tourism Day celebrations in Visakhapatnam featured the Vizag Waves programme, organised by the tourism department, GVMC and district administration.
Officials promoted Visakhapatnam as a hub for IT, medical and beach tourism, while highlighting Araku, Paderu and Buddhist heritage sites.
Development plans include a second Kailasagiri approach road, better parking, Thotlakonda upgrades and a four-lane beach corridor to Bheemunipatnam.
Alluri Sitharama Raju district launched tourism programmes, a Discover Alluri portal and QR-based information services with multilingual AI assistance.
Parvathipuram Manyam district showcased its natural attractions and traditional performances while calling for coordinated tourism development.
