TMC Barred From Raising Mamata Banerjee Convoy Attack in Parliament

A very important leader named Mamata Banerjee was in her car, going to visit a family whose relative had died while he was in police custody.

On the way, some people who were upset surrounded her car, shouted mean words, and threw mud and stones at it.

Her political party, the TMC, wanted the leaders in Parliament to talk about what happened.

But the person in charge of the meeting said no, so they were not allowed to speak.

When one leader tried again, his microphone was turned off.

So many leaders from the opposition walked out of the meeting to show they were not happy.

Another party, called the BJP, said they were not part of the attack.

One BJP leader visited the family and said there would be an official inquiry into how the man died.

The TMC also talked about students who got hurt while protesting about leaked exam papers.

They asked the Home Minister to explain what is happening, and they are waiting for an answer.
