Mother Killed by Train Saving Son at Bhadohi Crossing

Shiv Kumari, 46, died while trying to save her 20-year-old son, Vishal Rajbhar, from an approaching train.
Police said Vishal had consumed alcohol and threatened to jump onto the tracks after his mother refused him money for liquor.
The incident occurred late Thursday evening at the Indira Mill railway crossing in Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh.
Eyewitnesses told police that Kumari pushed Vishal away from the tracks but was struck by the train herself.
Vishal survived with injuries and was referred from the district hospital to the BHU Trauma Centre in Varanasi.
