2 Nursing Students Killed by Vande Bharat Express in Bengaluru
Two young nursing students from Kerala were sadly killed when they were hit by a fast train in Bengaluru.
They were walking near the train tracks when the train, which was going very fast, hit them.
The police are trying to find out if it was an accident or if the students wanted to hurt themselves.
The students' families have come to Bengaluru to take care of everything.
The police are also talking to people who might have seen what happened.
Two first-year BSc nursing students from Kerala died after being hit by a Vande Bharat Express train near Chikkabanavara railway station in Bengaluru.
The victims were identified as Sterlin Eliza Shaji (19) and Justin Joseph (20), students of Sapthagiri College.
The incident occurred around 2:35 PM when the train was heading towards Belagavi, traveling at high speed.
Investigators are checking CCTV footage and other details to determine if it was an accident or a suicide attempt.
The bodies were transferred to MS Ramaiah Hospital, and the families of the victims have arrived in Bengaluru.
