Police are investigating whether a government job exam paper was leaked before the test.

The exam was for Drug Inspector posts under the Maharashtra Public Service Commission.

Investigators allege Rutuja Patil received the questions two days before the March 22 exam.

They say her father paid ₹5 lakh for the question set.

Police also allege that three MPSC officials and a coaching-class director helped pass along the questions.

Rutuja later cleared the exam and appeared seventh on a provisional merit list.

Her former boyfriend, Gaurav Patil, allegedly told the MPSC about the leak after they broke up.

Six people were arrested, and the entire recruitment process was cancelled.
