Support Chief Minister's peace efforts, BJP Manipur chief urges
In a part of India called Manipur, different groups of people have not been getting along.
The person in charge of the state is the Chief Minister.
His name is Y Khemchand Singh.
He is trying to help everyone feel safe and make peace.
He has been talking to people in different areas, including Kangpokpi and Senapati.
A leader named A Sharda Devi gave a speech about this.
She said everyone should support the Chief Minister.
She was speaking at an event called the Har Ghar Tiranga Yatra in the city of Imphal.
The Chief Minister said the main roads, called National Highways, would be opened again.
He also said the bus that goes from Imphal to Guwahati would run again for everyone.
BJP Manipur president and Rajya Sabha MP A Sharda Devi urged all to support Chief Minister Y Khemchand Singh's efforts to bring peace in the state.
Sharda Devi made the appeal while addressing a gathering during the Har Ghar Tiranga Yatra in Imphal.
She said the chief minister has been interacting with different communities across the state, including Kangpokpi and Senapati.
During a Saturday visit to Kuki-majority Kangpokpi district, Khemchand Singh announced that National Highways in the state would be reopened.
The chief minister also announced that the Imphal-Guwahati bus service would resume for all communities.
