Kulgam Terror Attack Claims Life of Chhattisgarh Labourer
A group of terrorists fired at a brick kiln in Kulgam, a district in Jammu and Kashmir.
Two workers from the Indian state of Chhattisgarh were there.
One of them, Deepak Ratray, was shot and died.
The other, Bopinder, was hurt and taken to a hospital.
The state’s governor said he was very angry and would make sure the attackers were caught.

24‑year‑old Deepak Ratray from Chhattisgarh was killed; 28‑year‑old Bopinder was injured.
Bopinder was first taken to GMC Anantnag and then to SKIMS Hospital in Soura.
Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha condemned the attack and ordered security operations.
The incident follows earlier attacks on non‑local workers and a police officer in the region.
