IT firms resume hiring of AI-skilled engineers to fix pyramid
IT firms rebalance employee pyramid through entry-level hiring · thehansindia.com

Big companies that build computer software had stopped hiring new workers for a while.

Smart computers called AI had started doing many simple jobs by themselves.

That meant there were not enough junior workers left to help with projects.

This made it harder for the companies to do their work well.

Now these companies are hiring again.

They especially want new workers who know how to use AI.

Companies called global capability centres are also hiring new workers for AI projects.

One company, TCS, hired 14,000 new workers in just three months.

Another company, Infosys, hired 4,000 new workers from colleges.

Both companies plan to hire thousands more new workers this year.
