Six Additional Judges Sworn In at Karnataka High Court

Judges are like referees who make sure the rules are followed and help decide what is fair when people disagree.

The Karnataka High Court is a very important court in the state of Karnataka in India.

Six new judges were welcomed to this court on Sunday.

The leader of the state, called the Governor, gave them the official promise to do their jobs well.

This special ceremony happened in Bengaluru, a big city in India.

The ceremony took place at a building called the Glass House at Lok Bhavan.

The Chief Minister of the state and the Chief Justice of the court were there to watch the new judges start their work.

Many other important people also came to see the ceremony.

Now these six judges will help make fair decisions in court.

Being a judge is a big job because they help make sure everyone is treated fairly.
