Telangana Olympic Association Unveils Historic Dhyan Chand Statue
The Telangana Olympic Association unveiled a statue of famous hockey player Major Dhyan Chand.
The statue is made of brass.
It was unveiled in Hyderabad.
The association said this is the first statue of its kind created by a State Olympic Association in India.
Many sports officials and athletes attended.
Ismail Baig, an Olympian and Dronacharya Award winner, was also there.
