Bengaluru India Nano 2026 concludes after three-day nanotech conference

A big science meeting about nanotechnology happened in Bengaluru, India.

Nanotechnology is the science of working with extremely tiny materials.

The meeting, called Bengaluru India Nano 2026, lasted for three days, from August 3 to August 5.

The chief minister of Karnataka, D K Shivakumar, opened the meeting.

Scientists from more than ten countries gave over 80 talks and shared their ideas.

The theme was 'Nanotech's Next Frontier: AI & Beyond,' which looks at how smart computer tools can push nanotechnology forward.

Leaders said scientists should turn their research into real products people can use.

A famous scientist named Prof. C N R Rao was honoured for his great work in nanotechnology.

Another scientist, Prof. B L V Prasad, won a special award for his work at the Centre for Nano and Soft Matter Sciences.

More than four thousand people attended, making it a very big gathering of curious minds.
