Rajasthan CET 2026 Exams Rescheduled Amid Local Body Polls
The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board has changed the dates of two important eligibility tests.
The Senior Secondary test will happen from December 1 to 3, 2026.
It was earlier planned for October 23 to 25.
The Graduation test will now take place in January 2027.
More than 40 lakh students are affected by the changes.
The board said many government workers are needed to help prepare for local elections.
The new dates give students more time to study and practise.
Students should check the official website for details about admit cards, centres and exam shifts.
The Senior Secondary Level CET will now be held from December 1 to 3, 2026, instead of October 23 to 25.
The Graduation Level CET has been moved from December 1 to 3, 2026, to the second or third week of January 2027.
About 24.5 lakh candidates are registered for the Senior Secondary examination and around 17 lakh for the Graduation examination.
RSSB Chairman Alok Raj said the changes were made because officials and employees are needed for local body and panchayat election preparations.
Admit cards, centres, shift timings and exam-day instructions will be announced on the official RSSB website.
