Rajasthan CM Launches 1,013 Projects Worth ₹2,824 Crore
Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma announced many new development projects in western Rajasthan.
The projects together are worth about ₹2,824 crore.
Some projects were opened for people to use, while construction was approved for others.
The projects cover roads, electricity, water, schools, hospitals and villages.
Because Barmer has received little rain, water tankers and emergency drinking-water arrangements will continue until December 31.
Fodder depots will also operate in areas where animals may not have enough food.
The government said farmers will receive more yearly support through the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi.
It also said work is continuing to improve housing, women’s livelihoods and long-term water security.
Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma inaugurated or launched 1,013 projects worth ₹2,824 crore across eight districts of Jodhpur division.
The government inaugurated 250 works worth ₹778 crore and laid foundation stones for 763 works worth more than ₹2,046 crore.
Emergency drinking-water supplies and tanker services in low-rainfall Barmer will continue until December 31.
Annual assistance for Rajasthan farmers under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi has risen from ₹6,000 to ₹9,000.
New projects include roads, rural water supply, power, health, education, agriculture and animal-husbandry infrastructure.
