Rajasthan Transport Revenue Rises 13.80 Percent to Rs 3,595 Crore

Rajasthan’s Transport Department collected about Rs 3,595 crore by September 27.

This was nearly 13.80 percent more than it collected at the same time last year.

Officials discussed the figures at a review meeting.

Many transport services can now be completed online through two government portals.

This means people may not need to visit transport offices as often.

Rajasthan has 55 centers that test vehicles automatically.

The state is also preparing to add about 900 buses, including electric buses.

Driving-test tracks across the state are being automated to improve road safety.
