Centre's Panel to Examine Demographic Changes, Illegal Migration in Jammu

The government of India has asked a special group of experts to look at how people are moving and living in different parts of the country.

The group is called a high-level panel.

It will check if people are moving to places in ways that are not expected or allowed.

It will look at something called illegal immigration, which means people moving to a country without proper permission.

The panel will also study how the population is changing in different areas.

A retired judge named Prakash Prabhakar Navlekar is in charge of the panel.

The panel will first visit a city called Jammu to talk to people there.

The visit will last three days, from August 10 to August 12.

After that, the panel will talk to people in other parts of the country too.

The goal is to understand these changes better and decide if anything needs to be done.
