Byndoor Police Seize Rs 16 Lakh Equipment in Mining Raid
Police in Byndoor searched a site where stones were allegedly being mined illegally.
The site was on government land in Batiyani, Kalthodu village.
Officers found two trucks carrying red laterite stones.
They also found four machines.
The machines included power tillers with blades and stone-lifting trolley machines.
The seized items were estimated to be worth Rs 16 lakh.
The raid followed information from a local beat officer.
Police have started legal action against two people, Ravindra Poojari and Satish Shetty.
