Imagine you want to open a shop, but you must go to many different offices to get papers signed.

The Delhi government has made a new rule to make this easier for business owners.

The new rule is called the Ease of Doing Business Bill, 2026, and the Delhi Cabinet has approved it.

Under this rule, low-risk businesses can fill out a form saying they follow the rules, instead of visiting many offices.

The government will not do routine checks on these businesses for three years.

There will also be one special website where businesses can ask for all their permissions, like water, electricity and building approvals.

If the government does not answer in time, the permission is given automatically so people do not have to wait.

This makes it faster and easier to start and run a business in Delhi.

The bill still needs approval from the Union Home Ministry before it can become a law.
