For the same period, the RTO recorded 16 tinted-film cases and 59 fancy-plate cases, compared with 1,605 and 3,130 respectively by the Traffic Police.
The RTO drive also targeted missing High-Security Registration Plates and violations by private travel and luxury buses.
The agencies said their different jurisdictions, mandates, legal powers and enforcement systems mean the figures should not be treated as a direct performance comparison.
