Goa received 61.38 lakh visitors in the first seven months of 2026.

Officials said this was strong growth, even though the monsoon is usually a quieter travel period.

Many visitors are looking for culture, food, wellness, nature and heritage, not only beaches.

Another company expects to bring over 45,000 tourists from several international markets.
