Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu visited a beach in Visakhapatnam to check a coastal-cleaning program.

He helped clean the beach and spoke with workers, fishermen, and scuba divers.

Scuba divers also remove plastic and old fishing nets from underwater areas.

The program aims to remove 1,200 tonnes of plastic from the coastline.

Naidu opened a pilot center that will help recover plastic from the ocean.

He also watched a robot demonstrate how it cleans sewers and drains.

After meeting a woman who sells muri mixture, he asked officials to arrange a pension for her.
