The airport prepared emergency teams before the plane arrived.

Later, an Air India Express plane traveling from Tiruchirappalli to Singapore also diverted to Chennai.

That plane carried 170 passengers and landed safely as well.

Engineers were checking both aircraft, while normal airport operations continued.
