A two-day kayaking workshop in Alipurduar ended on Sunday as a first-of-its-kind initiative.
The Indian Mountaineering Foundation’s eastern zone and the Rovers & Mountaineering Club organised the workshop.
Thirty participants attended the event on the banks of the Kaljani River.
Participants completed theoretical training on Saturday and kayaked four kilometres on Sunday.
Organisers said kayaking could support adventure tourism and flood-related rescue and relief operations.
