All-Women High Altitude Trekking Expedition Launched in Arunachal Pradesh
A group of brave women from different parts of India, including the Army and other organizations, have started a tough hiking trip in the mountains of Arunachal Pradesh.
They will hike for about four days, going up very high, over 13,000 feet!
This trip is special because it's all women, and it's meant to show how strong and adventurous women are.
It also helps promote exciting outdoor activities and encourage people to visit these beautiful, remote areas.
An all-women high-altitude trekking expedition has commenced in Zemithang, Arunachal Pradesh.
The expedition includes participants from the Indian Army, SSB, Indian Mountaineering Foundation, and the local Monpa community.
It aims to promote women's empowerment, adventure sports, and tourism in the region.
The team will trek for 96 hours at altitudes exceeding 13,000 feet after a week of acclimatization.
The initiative also supports the government's vision for vibrant villages and community engagement.
