Delhi-NCR waterlogging, traffic chaos after two days of heavy rainfall

It rained very hard in Delhi for two days, and the rain made the roads fill up with water, which is called waterlogging.

Because of the water, cars and buses had a hard time moving, and the traffic got very stuck.

Many offices told people to work from home so they would not have to travel.

The weather experts at the India Meteorological Department warned everyone to be careful because more heavy rain was coming.

The Yamuna River also rose higher because of all the rain.

Special rescue teams called the NDRF went to watch the river and keep people safe.

In one place, a big water pipe burst and flooded part of the road, but workers brought pumps to remove the water.

Police helped direct cars around the flooded areas.

Some people were stuck in their cars for hours on Friday night, waiting for the water to go down.

People are hoping the rain stops soon so things can get back to normal.
