Army Major Killed, Two Lieutenants Injured After Camel Collision
An Army major named Hamza Arif was driving a private SUV with two other officers.
While returning to the military station near Jaisalmer, a camel suddenly ran onto the road.
The car hit the camel, flipped over several times, and slid for about 100 metres.
Major Arif died from his injuries, and the two lieutenants are being treated in a hospital.
The camel also died.
Police and military officials are investigating what caused the camel to appear on the road.
The crash happened at a spot that had a previous accident a year ago.
