Many investors continued putting money into funds every month through SIPs.

SIP contributions reached ₹31,961 crore in July.

This was the fifth month in a row that contributions stayed above ₹30,000 crore.

SIP-linked assets also crossed ₹18 lakh crore for the first time.

Passive funds, which generally follow an index or market segment, also grew strongly.

Debt fund assets decreased slightly during the same period.
