Jawaharlal Nehru Fund Opens 2026 PhD Scholarship Applications
A fund is offering scholarships to help some students complete PhDs in India.
The scholarships are for students studying five specific subjects.
These include history, sociology, religion and culture, the environment, and economics.
Winners will receive Rs 18,000 each month for tuition-related support.
They will also receive Rs 15,000 each year for study trips, books and stationery.
Applicants must already be registered for a full-time PhD at a recognised Indian institution.
They need strong academic results and must usually be no older than 35 on October 1.

The Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund is inviting applications for its 2026 doctoral-study scholarships.
