Dhar Teachers’ Day Ceremony Honors 208 Retired Educators, 13 Achievers
A Teachers’ Day event was held in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh.
It honored 208 teachers who had retired.
Thirteen other achievers were also recognized.
The ceremony took place at Shraddha Garden.
Several officials and guests attended.
Organizers said they have honored about 6,000 retired teachers over 43 years.
Speakers said teachers help shape students’ values and deserve respect.

The District Teachers' Felicitation Ceremony Committee honored 208 retired educators and 13 achievers in Dhar on Teachers’ Day.
The ceremony was held at Shraddha Garden and attended by keynote speaker Dr Swati Tiwari, Collector Rajiv Ranjan Meena and SP Sachin Sharma.
The committee said it has honored around 6,000 retired teachers during 43 years of ceremonies.
This year’s retired honorees had left service between September 1, 2025, and August 31, 2026.
Speeches, devotional performances, Sanskrit verses and a song formed part of the event.
