Woman Injured in Python Attack While Working in Maize Field

A woman named Swapna was working in a maize field in a village in India when a very big snake called a python attacked her.

The python was almost 12 feet long, which is about as long as a small car.

Swapna cried out for help very loudly.

Her family members and farmers working nearby heard her and rushed to rescue her.

They took her to a hospital called Jangaon Area Hospital.

In a surprising move, the family also caught the python and brought it to the hospital with them.

Many people crowded around to see the large snake, causing a little chaos.

A doctor said Swapna was safe and getting better.

Officials told farmers and workers to be careful in the fields during the rainy season, because that is when snakes move around more.
