Afghanistan Announces UAE Series With Bangladesh and Zimbabwe
Afghanistan has planned several cricket matches in the United Arab Emirates.
Bangladesh will first play Afghanistan in one Test match.
Then Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Zimbabwe will play a short one-day tournament.
The top two teams in that tournament will meet in a final.
Afghanistan and Zimbabwe will next play three T20 matches.
They will then play two longer Test matches.
Cricket officials said the games will help players gain experience.
Afghanistan is also preparing for a separate T20 series against India in New Delhi.
Afghanistan will host Bangladesh and Zimbabwe in a multi-format series in the United Arab Emirates from October to November.
Afghanistan and Bangladesh will play a one-off Test from October 9 to 13.
Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Zimbabwe will compete in an ODI tri-nation series from October 17 to 23.
Afghanistan and Zimbabwe will play three T20Is before meeting in two Tests in November.
The Afghanistan Cricket Board said the schedule will provide valuable international experience across all three formats.
