CISCE to Host Student-Led Mental Health Conclave in 2026
CISCE is planning a large programme about students’ mental health in 2026.
Students from Classes VI to XII will first talk about well-being in their schools.
These conversations will cover stress, feelings, digital life, relationships and healthy choices.
Students will also discuss resilience and how to ask for help.
Next, selected students and teachers will join online meetings in 18 regions.
A final meeting will bring representatives from all regions to Hyderabad.
Experts and CISCE representatives will also attend the national meeting.
The students’ ideas may help create a charter and other resources for supportive schools.
CISCE will organise a three-tier student mental health and well-being initiative in 2026.
Students in Classes VI to XII will join school discussions from October 4 to 31.
Virtual regional conclaves will take place across 18 regions from November 4 to 14.
The national conclave will be held in Hyderabad from November 20 to 22.
Planned outcomes include a Student Mental Health Charter, Well-being Index and adolescent mental health White Paper.
