PMPML Adds 500 CNG Buses with Fire‑Suppression System
PMPML, Pune’s bus company, is getting 500 new buses that run on compressed natural gas.
These buses have a special safety system that can put out a fire automatically if something goes wrong in the engine.
The buses are being built by Ashok Leyland and will be delivered in two batches over the next few months.
PMPML’s boss, Mahesh Awhad, said the buses are almost ready and will start production soon.
The new buses will help more people travel safely around Pune.
