People in Kashi held a special prayer ceremony for flood victims.

People prayed for those who died and for injured people to recover.

They also prayed for the safety of families affected by the floods.

Everyone observed two minutes of silence to remember the dead.

They lit lamps and offered prayers to the river.

The floods in Nepal damaged roads and bridges and made travel difficult.
